The cheapest flights are in the Skyscanner or Momondo search websites. I love these search engines because they search all airline and online travel websites around the world.
Airbnb is the most pet friendly way to stay in a foreign city as pets can run around the whole apartment. Use the map facility to find a place near a park or green space , handy for fun and bedtime walks. Booking a hostel with Hostelworld is easy, with the widest range of pet friendly accommodation, although guests with pets usually have to book a private room. If you prefer a hotel, of which there are many pet friendly ones, use the search filter ‘pets allowed’ at one of the many accommodation websites which then only produces results for pet friendly hotels, and guesthouses. Expedia.com generally offer the cheapest rates.

Travel Insurance for travellers with pets
Comprehensive travel insurance protects travellers against cancellation, accidents, illness, and theft. My travel partners always use World Nomads but that doesn’t cover pets. My favourite pet travel insurance company that offers the most comprehensive cover is Tesco Bank which currently has a 20% discount offer.
We all need money when travelling, even dogs. We have food to buy, pet friendly hotels, Airbnbs, vet bills etc so use a currency card. The transactions are free, you can fix the exchange rate whenever you want, and you protect you ordinary bank account from fraud. With Revolut, they also refund most atm fees as well. They have a great offer on at the moment, about 20% off. Revolut.com
As a back up you must have a Caxton currency card which is very similar to the Revolut currency card. It is always useful to have several cards, Mastercard and Visa as some work in some atms and some don’t!
